PASS Launches Peer-to-Peer Fundraising Campaign to Strengthen its Health and Safety Infrastructure for the Adult Industry

[Los Angeles, CA] — [11/07/2025] — PASS Certified, the adult industry’s trusted health and safety organization, has officially launched its first-ever Peer-to-Peer Fundraising Campaign to raise $50,000 in support of its ongoing work to protect and empower performers. The funds will help sustain critical STI testing infrastructure, expand performer support initiatives, and strengthen PASS’s role as a leader in sexual health advocacy.

What PASS Does

Originally developed by the Free Speech Coalition (FSC) in 2011 and operating as an independent nonprofit since 2021, PASS (Performer Availability Screening Services) creates and maintains the adult industry’s testing standards and manages a digital clearinghouse for performer work clearance data.

PASS works with licensed testing partners across the U.S. and Canada to provide standardized STI screening, ensuring that all adult industry professionals have consistent, safe, and verified work availability data. The PASS database never stores personal medical results—only a simple “yes/no” clearance that allows performers to work with confidence and privacy.

Why PASS Matters

In a highly interdependent industry, one performer’s health is everyone’s health. PASS serves as the self-regulatory body ensuring that testing, education, and safety standards remain high, current, and inclusive. In the event of a potential talent pool risk, PASS initiates immediate Production Holds—pausing filming to safeguard the entire performer community.

Through its Medical Advisory Board, composed of volunteer public health experts, researchers, and industry workers, PASS establishes evidence-based protocols for STI testing, emerging infectious threats, and performer wellbeing.

How It Works

The Peer-to-Peer Fundraising Campaign empowers community members to directly participate in sustaining the safety net that protects them all:

Top fundraisers win free STI testing:
1st Place: 10 full panels + social feature
2nd Place: 6 full panels + social feature
3rd Place: 4 full panels + social feature
& Anyone who helps raise at least $1,000 receives 1 free full panel.

Participants can sign up, share their unique fundraising link, and invite their networks to contribute.

PASS also welcomes industry partners—agencies, production companies, fansites, and manufacturers—to join the effort through sponsorships, matching contributions, or direct donations.
